Kamp K9 provides dog daycare in Orlando for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Before your dog joins a play group, we do a temperament assessment to make sure they are placed with the right pack. Play happens in our 3,500 sq ft outdoor turf areas during cooler parts of the day, and dogs move into climate-controlled indoor play and rest areas when the heat picks up. Enriching Play & Socialization at Kamp K9
Kamp K9’s Daycare offers an enjoyable, mentally-stimulating, and safe experience that meets the needs of every dog. We take advantage of the mass amount of shade provided by our large trees covering our outside dog park. Our dog park is artificially turf and offers different size play areas to accommodate our active kampers. Our largest outside area is 1,500 sq ft. During hot or inclement weather our kampers move indoors to our climate-controlled play and rest areas.
Our kampers are playing/hanging out in packs with their friends the majority of the day during their visit to kamp.
Before your pup joins the fun, we’ll perform an assessment of your dog’s temperament and group them based on play style, personality, temperament, size and age to determine which pack they should join. This process ensures all dogs are safe, stress-free and having fun in their packs.

How much does dog daycare cost at Kamp K9?
The daily rate is $40.00 a day. We also offer packages at a discounted rate.
What happens during the temperament assessment, and how long does it take?
On your evaluation day you arrive at Kamp at 8:15am, take a tour of the facility, drop your dog off, and pick them up at 11:30am.
We start the evaluation with your dog in a yard alone until they get comfortable. We let a calm dog enter the yard with your dog, then slowly bring in other dogs to meet them. Once we learn your dog's personality, we decide which play yard is best for them and try them out there. We conduct assessments Monday through Thursday.
How are the Day Kamp play groups put together?
Our play groups are based on the dog's temperament, energy level, play style, and personality. Size and age matter, but they are not the sole criteria for play group formation.
What are your daycare hours, and why is the lobby closed from 12pm to 3pm?
Daycare hours are 7:00am to 7:00pm. We close from 12pm to 2pm for lunch and nap time, then let the dogs outside from 2pm to 3pm. During naptime we do not like the dogs to be disturbed, as this is their quiet time. Only grooming dogs can be picked up between 12pm and 3pm.
Do you offer daycare packages or multi-day discounts?
Yes, we offer discounted rates on packages.
How old does my puppy need to be to start daycare?
They need to be fully vaccinated.
What happens if my dog is not a good fit for daycare?
It is rare that we have a dog who is not a fit for daycare, but if it does happen we can go over training options or other options to get them ready for daycare.
