Daycare

Our facility offers large outdoor play areas as well as climate-controlled inside play spaces and boarding areas. We create play groups based on play style, temperament, personality, and size. Play groups allow for dogs to experience play with other “like-minded” friends. The purpose is for your pup to “play out” their instincts in a constructive environment (play wrestling). Dogs’ love to chase, wrestle and play ‘tug’ with each other. Your pup builds friendships in the play yards and love when they see them again. This experience helps the dog become well-balanced. A by-product is the dog is tired at home.

A Family Affair

Kamp K9 grew from a pet sitting business started by the "Vann Kids." To earn money Louise and Brian, Jr. founded the company. They focused on providing dog sitting and walking services to families with dogs in their neighborhood. Their father, Brian, Sr., realized the family's passion for dogs while helping his children pet sit. The family decided to expand the business.

AMAZING! 10 stars if I could. I was down in Orlando from South Carolina on a work trip. My husband was working out of the country and this last-minute pivot left me in an Air B&B with 4 dogs right down the street. I spoke to the owner and he was awesome, since they're up to date on all of their shots / vaccines they were able to have fun play days with new friends. OUR KIDS EVEN GOT REPORT CARDS SENT TO ME!!! It was the cutest thing ever, I so appreciated it. Sure beat sitting around while I was at the office. Thank you so much for you love and care for our babies; Thomas, Kevin, Beretta and Lady. Finding Kamp K9 has truly been one of the best things that’s happened to our family since moving to the Orlando area.

We have a very large (85-pound!) 2-year old puppy, and after trying another place locally for a long weekend, we knew we needed something better. We like to get away every few weeks, and having a place we completely trust with overnight camp gives us total peace of mind. Kamp K9 has exceeded every expectation.

First, it’s incredibly easy to make reservations — whether it’s for day camp or overnight stays. The process is smooth, organized, and flexible. Their drop-off and pickup times are convenient, and the team is always accommodating.

What truly sets them apart is the level of care and communication. They always ask detailed questions about medications, special needs, and eating habits. If our puppy needs a little encouragement to eat, they have their own tricks and genuinely care about making sure she’s comfortable.

And the daily report cards? We LOVE them. Getting a photo and a thoughtful update every single day makes such a difference. Instead of calling and getting a quick “she’s fine,” someone is actually writing about her day — what she did, how she played, how she behaved. It makes us feel connected and reassured while we’re away.

The facility itself is spotless. They take so much pride in cleanliness and organization, and they’re more than happy to give tours and walk you through everything. You can tell they run a tight ship in the best way possible.

But the biggest sign of how amazing Kamp K9 is? Our puppy practically explodes with excitement when she sees the staff. She jumps all over them (all 85 pounds of her 😅), and they greet her with so much warmth and enthusiasm. That reaction tells us everything we need to know — she feels safe, loved, and happy there.

I shopped around many doggie cares before I can across Kamp K9. I love that my pup is not in a crate all day but either outside in a play good or in the inside play area. All the pups are playing together and not taken out for only a certain amount of time durning the day. My very hyper active dog, comes home tired from playing all day. The kamp Kounslers are great and even let me know if they see anything unusual, they really show that they care for my pup like he is there own. I also noticed durning my tour that the facility smelt and looked very clean. Other places are all indoor and smelt like it too. I really feel like a found the best place for my boy while I am way. Kamp K9 is awesome!  My dog,, Buddy, loves the daycare and goes 2-3 times a week.  He gets so excited when we are driving there.  The groomers are excellent also and we have also used the boarding and it was amazing as well!  I highly recommend Kamp K9 if you are looking for a place for your dog to have fun and to be treated like a member of the family! Jack is a 6 year old rescue, and he’s lived with us about 3 1/2 months. When we met him, he came right to me and my husband. He’s the smartest dog we’ve ever had. Enrolling in Brian's 5-week puppy training class was the best decision we ever made. This was the first puppy we've owned since having children (ages 6 and 8). Brian was patient with all of us, included the kids in the training and made it an experience that was extremely informative, yet relaxing, engaging and fun. No. We base acceptance on the dog's personality and temperament during the evaluation.

What vaccinations does my dog need before their first visit?

DHPP and Rabies need to be current, either annually or every 3 years. Bordetella is required every 6 months, and Canine Influenza is required annually.

How do I get started as a new client at Kamp K9?

Complete the electronic intake form on our website. Go to kampk9.com, click the “Parent Portal” icon, then click “Sign up” and fill out the forms. Upload your dog's shot records. You will get a notification once the forms are complete, and we will call you to set up an evaluation.
