Why Dog Training Starts Early
Training a dog takes time, patience and consistency—from puppyhood to adolescence to adulthood. That’s why we start training early, during the puppy stage, when behaviors are still developing. As your dog matures, their behaviors evolve quickly between 4 and 12 months. If you consistently follow through on your rules, boundaries, and limitations then you will have a well-mannered family member for the rest of its life.

Bringing home a puppy is a big moment—and that’s why we’re here to help families assimilate their new pup into their daily routines and lifestyles. Kamp K9 teaches pet owners how to develop a well-mannered, well-behaved dog who comes when called.
A Kamp K9 trained dog knows how to behave in various situations, understands their place in these settings, and doesn’t jump on guests. We use positive, results-driven methods that focus on your dog’s natural instincts and behavior patterns.
This program offers a variety of benefits, including:

Our Puppy Pre-school educates families from pre-puppy preparations to understanding how to handle the first few nights at home with a new pup, along with basic obedience, manners, and loose leash walking.
*Puppy Pre-school includes five personalized sessions, typically held once a week.

Kamp ‘N Train
We offer 2 week (jump start), 3 week, 4+ week programs. The program option is based on your dog’s training goals. Your pup is trained at the facility, where we recreate real-life scenarios for optimal outcomes. When your dog isn’t training, your dog is socializing with other dogs in play groups.
Part of a dog’s growth is learning how to socialize with others, “Learning to be a good kid on the playground”. We incorporate socializing into our training curriculum through our Day Kamp n Train program. We create play groups based on play style, temperament, personality, and size. Play groups allow for dogs to experience play with other “like-minded” friends. The purpose is for your pup to “play out” their instincts in a constructive environment (play wrestling). Dogs’ love to chase, wrestle and play ‘tug’ with each other. Your pup builds friendships in the play yards and love when they see them again. This experience helps the dog become well-balanced
